I Ran an production dashboard in 72 and it showed around 400 are missing!!!

Prerequisists--

1.Make sure all company are on GP10.

deleted comppany two and executed cleanup

2.Make sure DTC is up and running
3.bpuseradmin as sql sysadmin and default it with master
4..net frane work 2.0 should be in list

aspnet_regiis.exe -iru -enable

Installation-

1)Installed WSS 3.0 using the Advanced > Web Front End option
2) Ran SharePoint Products and Technology Configuration Wizard to create the new config database
3) Used SharePoint 3.0 Central Administration to create a new new IIS site/Web Application/content database
4) We created a Site Collection called using the Team Site template
5)bpuseradmin as primary admin
6) We verified that we could access this new site
7) Then we installed BP, only choosing the Project Time and Expense feature
8)Confirm installation

gp's episode!!!

I knew gp was angry..evrybody in suppoort say gp as my uncle..such a bonding..i dropped him for two days.not intentionally...i felt bad..so spend some time to discuss on few reports...gp back in track..need to have some decent reports in 2 days

Test Environment data migration!!

1.its been a while have done sql movements...but my over confidence,with out checking anything i opened management studio and saw databases in test environment...took the necessary backups and copied lot of datafiles to share drive.

2.uninstalled sql..there was one express edition too which i did;t care ..it screwed me later!!!

3.once uninstalled rebooted box,.Ooops it came up..

4.installed sql cd 1 and 2 and applied service pack..

5.opened management studio!!!Damn it. it got corrupted,,,several dump errors..impossible to google..so thought of reinstalling..uninstalled and rebooted.
server came up..installed again....restarted..studio was not ready to change..
blamed bad day.
6.meanwhile sk pinged that there was one db in express which was already in production..sucks.....everthing is gone..started searching for its mdf..lucky it was there..
7.applied sp3..and copied got all sys data files through the help of dummy db;s
8.sql did't start...
9.tried again..same results
10.later copied the full sys data illegely from production..
11.sucess it worked..
12..copied and attached one by one..
13.gps folder copied from prod and changed the folder location in dex
14.gps works
15.ohh no..mom screaming...time is 8 am...cab will be here in 5 hrs..had a small sleep and got office
15.skr cleaned home and made some space to accomodate all elephants under the same wall
16.Thank god..gps worked..
